DENTAL ASSISTANT
Dental assistants greatly increase the efficiency of the dentist in the delivery of quality oral hygiene. They perform many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills. Dental assistants prepare patients for the dentist's examination, take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays), sterilize and disinfect equipment and prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
